Hello! Let's see how to setup referral marketing campaigns on WooCommerce using HiveOtter!
Create a new campaign to start and give it a name
Click Edit
Select WooCommerce type
Give your WooCommerce store URL
Go to Next section
Upload your Logo
Pick your brand color
Select the discount to be provided for the referrer & number of referrals needed to provide the discount on Email
Configure the referral page that will be available on your store. More in next slides
Customise the email that will be sent to referrer on reaching the milestone
Configure the discount to be provided for new customers, ie. invitees. This reward will be applied automatically to the cart
Configure the Popup that will be shown for invitees
Configure the email that will be sent to invite when they make the purchase
Install the HiveOtter WooCommerce extension which runs the referral campaign on your store!
Paste the API Key that you got from the HiveOtter dashboard
Coming to your store, as mentioned earlier, your customers can see the Rewards page
If the customer is not logged in, they can give their email id to get their own link that they can share with their friends
They can quickly copy the link or share it on their social media!
If someone visits the store from the referral link, this popup will be shown
Once they visit the Cart or Checkout page..
The discount would be applied automatically as per the configuration
Click Proceed to Checkout
Click Place Order
A thank you banner will be shown on the Checkout complete screen. Best time to let them share the link to get more sales!
You can view the referral emails and more details from the HiveOtter dashboard. More reports coming soon!
You can also view the discount coupons being created and more details from the WooCommerce dashboard to have more control.
